Microsoft Teams

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I was using this blog to communicate with you but now we need to start using Microsoft Teams. This means that I am going to upload resources and activities on Microsoft Teams.

Kindly use the ilearn email and password that I sent you so that you can access our class on Microsoft Teams. On Microsoft Teams, our class is ‘Kinder 1.4 Imsida Primary School’.

It is important that you access and check our class team everyday.

Welcome to kindergarten:)

Hello 🙂 I am Ms. Deborah, your child’s kindergarten educator for this year. This is my first year teaching as I have just graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Early Childhood Education and Care from the University of Malta last December.

I created this blog so that I can post ideas of activities that the children can do during this period where schools are closed. Hopefully, this is over soon and we can return back in the classroom and continue learning and having fun together 🙂

Remember to cover your mouth when you sneeze or cough, clean your hands regularly and stay at home to stop the spread of this virus.

Number 1

During this weekend I wish that we focus on number 1 and that the children learn to recognise it. I uploaded some number 1 songs and 2 worksheets. In the worksheet named ‘number1worksheet’ the children need to follow the arrow and colour the number 1 and the apple.

In the worksheet named ‘number1scramble’ the children need to mark all the number 1 they can see. They can use anything they want to mark the number 1 (for example a crayon, a bingo marker or they can also dip their finger in the paint and do finger printing on the number 1). To help the children in this worksheet, write the number 1 on a paper and place it in front of the child so that the child can look at it while doing the worksheet.
