On a paper, with a marker, draw different lines and shapes for example: straight lines, zig zag lines, wavy lines, circles, squares, triangles and rectangles. Then, the children can put pompoms, beans, bottle caps, buttons and coloured pasta on the lines and shapes.

This is another simple activity that can be done at home.

On a large paper, with a marker, trace around different objects you have at home such as a pencil, a toy car, a plate, a shoe, a key, a book and a spoon. Put the objects that you used in a box  and the children need to put the actual object on the correct area on the paper.
